Eligibility: Students must be currently enrolled at WWU and plan to study full-time at least one quarter of the 2024-25 academic year in order to apply.

Requirements: Open to all WWU undergraduate students, you don't have to be a minor in Holocaust & Genocide Studies or in Human Rights. There is no minimum GPA requirement and no financial need requirement.

Applicants answer the question: When have you stood up for an individual or a group of people in a meaningful way and have made a difference for that individual or group?

  • 1 letter of recommendation is required for your application, due by Monday, May 13th. We ask for 1 letter from someone that could speak to the students' narrative. These should be sent directly from the person writing the letter to wolpow.institute@wwu.edu. We will not accept letters sent from the applicant.
